ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys

Extended policy title insurance generally requires a specialized survey called an ALTA/NSPS land title survey.  This is a fairly detailed survey showing the relationship of select features of the property in relationship to easements and property boundaries.  The level of detail in the survey is dictated by the client by specifying the optional survey responsibilities that will suit the client’s needs.  For more information on the specifications of an ALTA/NSPS survey as well as the table of optional survey requirements, refer to Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA /NSPS Land Title Surveys.
